Oak Gables Patient Participation Group launch the Oak Gables “100” Patient Panel
It is important that the views of local people shape services provided at our local GP surgery and that’s why the Oak Gables Patient Participation Group needs YOU - the people who use services now, or in the future, to get involved.
The Oak Gables “100” Patient Panel is simple and straightforward. We would like at least 100 patients of the Oak Gables Partnership GP Practice to sign up to receive short surveys on health and social care services provided by the Practice via email only so they can complete the surveys at the time that suits them.
Surveys will focus on a different issue each time and help us understand people's experiences of using the Practice.
Your voice can make a real difference in influencing any required changes to services and can give us an indication of areas we may need to focus our work on.
The information we collect will be anonymous, so you can be completely open and honest, and you can opt out at any time.
If you would like to sign up to join our Oak Gables “100” Patient Panel please provide your email address to express your interest.
You can send it to the Patient Participation Group email address; OakGablesPPG@gmx.com or hand it to the receptionist at the Health Centre.
Over the summer of 2017, our PPG carried out a survey to ask the opinion of the residents of Shaw what they would like to see if we were to have a new Health Centre built. There are current talks with NSH England to apply for funding for a new building and we thought that patient opinion should be counted. Please click on the link below to see the results;
If you are interested in improving the service locally and would like to participate in the Patient Participation Group, please let us know. Our members have prepared an information file to share their work with patients. This is available in Reception for patients to view, please do not hesitate to ask if you would like to see this.
